At West Hills, our hearts beat for discipleship, to see God’s people “grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ” (Ephesians. 4:15). We don’t just want you to “be fed”; we want to equip you to grow and “go feed”.
If you’re newer to Christianity, you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed by all of the information here. If you don’t remember anything else, or click on any other page on our site, please CLICK HERE for an excellent summary of the gospel, the life-blood of West Hills and all of Christianity worldwide.
Jesus’ final instruction to his followers before leaving earth wasn’t just to “make Christians”, or even to “make church-attending, Bible-reading Christians”, but to “make disciples… teaching them to observe ALL I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20, emphasis added). At West Hills, we are all about helping you grow in your understanding of, obedience to, and relationship with God, wherever you happen to be in that relationship, and in whatever context you find yourself. Discipleship can’t just be a Sunday morning thing.
