Paul retells, or really he just re-IMAGINES, he INTERPRETS the story of Abraham and his two SONS, by two different WIVES, as an ALLEGORY - a PICTURE - of the two different types of PEOPLE that exist: those under LAW, and those under GRACE. Every ONE of us is either an ISHMAEL… or we’re an ISAAC. And it all depends on how you answer the question of the day: “Who’s your MOTHER?”
