Church Office Manager

Full-time; 40 hrs/week, Salary range: $55,000-65,000 (based on experience)

Position Summary

This position is responsible for working closely with ministerial staff and church leadership to support the overall ministry of the church. Under the direction of the Lead Pastor, s/he will attend to a wide variety of responsibilities, including administration, communication, human resources, finances, event planning, content creation, and general ministry support.

Part-Time Director of Musical Worship

Part-time; 15-20 hrs/week, Salary range: $20-25k (based on experience)

Position Summary

The Director of Musical Worship (DMW) utilizes his spiritual gifts and God-given abilities to lead the church in corporate worship and support the ministry of the Elders and Senior Pastor. The DMW supports the mission of West Hills Church to make disciples who reach all of St. Louis and beyond with the good news of Jesus Christ. The Director of Worship reports directly to the Senior Pastor.

Part-Time Director of Media & Communications

Position Summary

The Director of Media & Communications (DMC) utilizes his or her gifts and abilities to support the ministry of West Hills Church through digital communication, media production, and technical support. The DMC serves alongside the Senior Pastor, staff, elders, and volunteers to communicate the mission of the church clearly and effectively both within the congregation and throughout the community. The Director of Media & Communications reports directly to the Senior Pastor.

Part-Time Director of Youth Ministries

Part-time; 20-25 hrs/week, Salary Range: $25-30k (based on experience)

Position Summary

The Director of Youth Ministries (DYM) will partner closely with the Senior Pastor and elders to advance the mission and vision of the church by leading and overseeing the ministry to students in grades 6–12. The DYM will provide leadership, teaching, discipleship, and pastoral care within the student ministry while equipping volunteers and supporting parents in the spiritual formation of their students. The DYM will help cultivate a ministry culture in which students are known, loved, grounded in God's Word, integrated into the life of the church, and equipped to follow Christ faithfully. The DYM reports directly to the Senior Pastor.

The DMM maintains a humble, teachable spirit and adapts to the changing needs of our congregation as determined by the Elders. The role may change over time, given the development of new ministry opportunities and critical tasks. The DMM brings a cheerful attitude and offers a cooperative approach to the church staff, Senior Pastor, the Elders, and volunteers. The DMM serves the church by facilitating musical worship, leading and building worship teams, and overseeing audio-visual and media aspects of worship and outreach. The DMM demonstrates an aptitude for organization and excellence.

This role provides leadership and oversight for Student Ministries (grades 6–12) and the church’s media and communications efforts. The DYM is responsible for cultivating a Christ-centered student ministry by discipling students, equipping volunteers, supporting parents, and helping students become active participants in the life and mission of the church.

In addition, the DYM oversees the church’s communication strategy and media presence, including digital communications, social media, website content, livestreaming, podcasts, and promotional resources. Through both ministries, the DYM seeks to make disciples who know Christ, grow in Christ, and help reach St. Louis and beyond with the good news of Jesus Christ. This position reports directly to the Senior Pastor.
